Work we've done

We at Govindji Nutrition have worked on projects for a range of food companies in the following areas: functional foods, milk & dairy products, nuts, snacks, fruit and vegetables, bread and weight management. Here are some examples:

Media

Conducted various media briefings (sometimes with a GP or a behavioral expert). This has included presentations to health journalists as well as confidential consultations for the journalist. Such personalized targeting has resulted in a range of media coverage. This has, at times, been supplemented with expert Q & A advertorials to promote the brand, diet plans for magazines, radio interviews or quotes in the national press.

Devised the nutrition & well-being content for a website launching a new product within a leading dairy brand - this was turned around in two weeks. The copy was based on current government recommendations on nutrition and health with new practical ideas for web users to implement realistic sustainable lifestyle changes.

Have conducted radio interviews at broadcasting houses for dairy, nut, kitchen equipment, salad and bread manufacturers.

Have originated scientific dossiers for submission to BACC for TV advertising of a cholesterol-lowering brand, a vitamin supplement and a probiotic drink.

Brand innovation and marketing insights

Advised a major food manufacturer on new angles for an existing brand of snack.

We have been involved in various creative brainstorming sessions for large retailers and for leading blue-chip companies.

Participated in “Expert Panels” for confidential nutrition expertise helping the future direction of three leading brands.

Revised existing menus to include healthier ingredients for a new and rapidly growing fast food outlet. These menus were then analysed according to the Food Standards Agency traffic light labeling criteria. The new menus now offer a range of green coded dishes and sales of these dishes have increased by 90%.

We regularly advise a dairy manufacturer about brand innovation.

We identified food trends that a client can expect over a 10 year horizon, and helped them assess the future of their market.

Conducted one-to-one consultations at The Vitality Show incorporating brand messages for a leading dairy brand.

We conducted presentations to sampling staff for two large retailers for a well-known brand.

We have delivered web casts for a Healthcare Insurance company to promote well-being and healthy lifestyles. This has inspired the content for health messages on the site.
